“Up for sale is a Willy’s Jeep CJ6. if un familiar with this jeep, it is the same extended wheelbase as the scrambler/cj-8 with the door opening of a cj-5. The complete original drive train has been rebuilt/refurbished including engine trans, transfer, diffs, new leafs, joints and shafts, new seats, gauges , led lights, new cooling system including radiator, been repainted(not a show quality paint job but presentable), new best top super top and doors , its on 33’s with aluminum wheels(will need tires if registering for the street) all lights, gauges work except speedometer(no cable). it has been used on my property to put around and help with projects and haul stuff with an occasional trip to town but i never have registered it it does have a clean title and will come with a bill of sale as well. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** $4500.
Some items don’t work.
“1960 RARE WILLYS JEEP – CJ6
THE GOOD:
This Jeep has been owned by me since 1978 and has always been stored inside since 1978.
It is in good running condition. The engine, transfer case, transmission, clutch, 4 wheel drive, and brakes all work well.
The engine is a 4 cylinder F-head.
The Jeep is all original except for the driver’s seat and paint.
THE BAD:
Heater does not work.
Speedometer and odometer do not work.
Gauges do not work.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $12,500.
“Price Reduced! Complete frame-off restoration in 2012 using an abundance of stainless hardware and body sealing. Resto work completed by experienced professionals back to original specifications except for upgrade to 1966 Dauntless V-6 engine with electronic ignition for reliable starting and operation. The CJ-6 is identical to the CJ-5 but has an additional 20″ in length added to the wheel base. This makes a HUGE improvement in handling stability and ride. Includes optional split windshield. No top or doors, perfect for FL driving.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $800.
(07/19/2015) “1959 Willies Jeep CJ6. Motor rebuilt, Tran. and Transfer case good. Body is bad.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $5500
“CJ-6 Yes It is a CJ-6 not CJ-5. Fairly rare model same as a CJ-5 but 20″ longer. This is a one owner vehicle until I bought it, but has not been on the road since the original owner. I bought this Jeep out of an estate, after original owner passed away. It had been in storage for years. I bought it with intentions of restoring it for my grandson, but that never happened, so I am selling it. When I bought it they claimed it had only 48K original miles, but absolutely no verification of this. It came from the factory with several extras (2nd gas tank, Warn overdrive, Warn winch, non-slip rear differential) factory hard top. Needs restoration, but the original Buick odd fire V6 225 starts and runs great. I did drain and change all of the fluids. This has been a So. Calif. vehicle since new so absolutely no rust or body damage.Call for more information.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3200.
“1967 Jeep cj6 327 Chevy has warn overdrive Ramsay winch Corvette valve covers. No title, been siting for 5 yrs .”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2750.
/Here’s a rare right-hand drive CJ-6.
“This is a right hand drive Jeep CJ-6. 4 WD with a 273 ci engine. Removable door and top. Also has a custom roll cage. Great project truck for the 4 wheeling enthusiast. Has been barn stored for the last few years and currently it will not start. I do not think it would take much to get it running but I do not have time to tinker with it right now. My loss is your gain. Email today to make arrangements to look at this rare Jeep.
When emailing please put “4Wheeling” in the subject line to help us avoid scams and spam. THANK YOU!”

(08/03/2015) Edgar Kaiser was Henry’s son if I’m not mistaken. The family owned a house on Orcas Island. There’s information about it here.
“3rd Owner, originally owned by Edgar Kaiser on his Orcas Island Buffalo Ranch. Very original. Low miles on professionally rebuilt motor.
Runs, drives, starts, stops.”
