CB radio. Driver floor repaired and bed lined. Comfortable seating Newer wheels and tires. bondo on the lower rockers could be fixed. This is a very good daily driver and fun to drive. Will make a great hunting vehicle, farm vehicle or complete restore or drive it the way it is. Did a lot of work on this Jeep to make it a daily. “For Sale: 1975 Jeep CJ-6. This is the last year the rare CJ-6 was built for the American market. Rebuild approximately 15 years ago and since then stored inside and never has been in the rain. It has been used to drive around on nice weekend days in the Texas hill country for the last 15 years.
-258 AMC engine
– 3 speed
– Mickey Thompson alloy wheels
– No power steering, no power brakes
– No heat no air conditioning
– Miles unknown as the odometer got stuck.
– Full soft top with doors/Bimini top included as well.
– Has a tow bar that comes with the Jeep.
– Radiator replaced in last 5 years, complete tune up with rebuild of carburetor, replacement of oil inlet unit, and replacement of valve stem seal less than 2 years ago and electrical tune up less than one year ago.
– Fluids replacement all up to date.
– Have bought a new starter, alternator and a thermostat which are boxed up and come with the Jeep as well.
This is not a Jeep for an inexperienced driver, it is not perfect but a great rare Jeep that drives and rides more comfortably than a CJ-5. I am asking $15,500 for this Jeep. Please don’t low ball me and I do not require your assistance in selling.

Blaine spotted this modified jeep on Walker Texas Ranger, season 4 episode 18. My guess would be that it is a 1971 or later CJ-6, but the pic isn’t too clear. “We have a classic 1966 CJ 6 with hard top and doors, PTO winch l, with trailer and spare tires for sale. Spare tires that are 1550 boggers. This 1966 CJ6 project was started but not finished. There is a new wiring harness, a crate SB chevy 350, steering, and seats that all needs to be installed, but most parts are included. We are asking $11,000 OBO”
Looks solid. It’s supposed to have a PTO, but I can’t tell if it is single or dual.

(12/09/2022) Appears worth a look. Has some rust. There serial number postfix of 18728 puts this as a 1960, rather than the 1962 year that is listed.

“Picked up this 1962 willys CJ6 Jeep over the Summer. For a number of reasons, this is a project I am unable to pursue. Odometer shows 8k, probably rolled over once. Has some rust and usuual jeep rot, but in pretty good shape considering. Jeep came from an airplane mechanic and appears to have a good base for a restoration. I was excited to see an original hard top, which I believe are pretty hard to come by. I’ve left the jeep in essentially the same condition I got it, which includes most of the old dudes tools and nik knacks. I think $4000 is a fair price, but feel free to shoot me an offer”
Runs, but needs the power brakes mod examined. Has a Koenig hardtop.

“1965 willys cj6. 90% original. body is in great shape for the age. all glass is good, windows work. starts, runs, and trans. shifts good. has power brakes but they dont work. have a new carburator and a fuel pump kit, but so far havent needed to put them on. motor smokes some. i havent ran it much, might clear up with a little Resolone and an oil change. im waiting on the former owner to find the title. this would be a great jeep to restore. asking $6,000”

“his is one of the rarest jeeps ever made. My understanding is that they only made approximately 460 of the CJ-6A Tuxedo Park Mark IV which has a 20 inch longer wheelbase than the CJ-5’s. This one was originally sold new at Desert Rambler Jeep dealership in Indio California. It has been in a dry California climate all of its life. It has a 134ci in-line four-cylinder motor and a three speed manual transmission on the column. I have just put brand new period correct off-road tires on it.
