Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1963 Jeep CJ6 Project, Complete rebuilt undercarriage (new shocks,springs, front disc brakes) 4.3 chevy 6 cylinder engine or brand new never fired, fuel injected 383 chevy stroker engine. “This is a CJ6. It has scout axles with lockers. Suspension lift with 35″ super swamper tires, V6 engine with fenderwell headers, aluminum intake, it has a turbo 400 automatic transmission and gear drive transfer case, full roll cage. It is a project that will need finished but has everything there to get it going.”
