Hi guys, this is David Eilers. I’m helping the seller with this jeep. This DJ-5 for sale is a very rare 1967 left-hand drive DJ-5 WITH a borg-warner 2-speed automatic. It’s all original, except for the top, and the tailgate (the stainless steel jewels tailgate pictured on the jeep will not be included). The jeep was ordered with the BW automatic and delivered to the University of Washington. The jeep was bought from the UW and lived in Arizona for some time. It was then bought by the present owner and moved to Washington State.

The body has a dent on the passenger side (supposedly happened during the original delivery … I need to get the passenger side pic from Ann still) and some dings on the left rear corner. “For sale is this 1982 DJ-5 postal jeep built by AM General. it has been in storage for quite a few years. Has a factory, GM, iron duke, four-cylinder engine, automatic transmission. Right hand drive.

Engine runs good, no smoke. Transmission and brakes work. It currently has an electric fuel pump hooked up temporary because the factory fuel pump is not working.
Includes a lot of parts. Extra doors, seats, hood and more.

Hard to find. Most of these were scrapped directly from service.
