Many upgrades including heavy duty military leaf springs which lifted it a couple inches, 16″ tires and rims instead of the stock 15″, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, & starter. Repainted in military flat tan last year. New mirrors, LED turn signal & brake lights. 6cyl AMC engine. True mileage unknown. “1975 DJ5 mail truck for sale. It is in very good condition, has no rust and new stereo system. The engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2001 and has had alot of work done to it in the past. All the parts are interchangeable with the CJ5 jeep .I bought two of these from a father and son both of whom work for the USPS. They were both passionate about keeping these running after the post office replaced them with newer models.
It comes with a log book that shows all the work that has been done and even what may need work.”
