Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1975 American General DJ5-D postal jeep. Jeep was refinished in 2014 to resemble an Army jeep. Interior and exterior painted OD green.
Right-hand drive, 232 CID straight six cylinder engine and Torqueflight 727 automatic transmission. New brakes and tires in 2014 (about 1500 miles on jeep since refurb). I will include a new (refurb) carb, starter and water pump in the sale. These items were purchased as backups from a postal jeep specialist and held in storage. Also have some engine and emissions control parts that were removed.

It does run and drive but has 2 major issues.
1) the steering is very loose.
2) pulls bad to one side while braking.
