Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Up for sale is my 1978 mail jeep. It has a straight 6 with an automatic transmission. This thing is a tank and it runs and drives great. It does not smoke or use any oil. It has a new starter, fuel pump, fuel filters, and alternator. It is right had drive which is pretty cool, and great for anyone with a mail route.
It has some rust on the body but over all it is very solid. The floors and bulkhead are rust free. It would make a very good hunting vehicle or just something to cruise around in or if you wanted to restore it, it would be a good one to start from. clear title. “
