UPDATE: Thanks to Mark for correcting me. I thought that was a head (black color), but it’s actually the standard exhaust.

“I have a 1962 230 OHC straight six tornado engine made by Kaiser it has 5000 miles and is broke in, replaced one oil pump drive gear. It is a good running engine for a willys jeep or other project also have the machine shop receipt”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $225.
This may be aWWII engine. Most interesting is the custom exhaust. I wonder what carb intake setup was used.
“Willy’s Jeep engine, I think a 1942 to 1948 . Turns over , as is. Will remove from the chassis it’s bolted to. Local pick up only, can load with fork lift.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.

Marty’s got this Tornado engine and bell housing for sale.
“I have a complete tornado 230 engine for sale. Complete wirh flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, bell housing, starter, 12 volt alternator mounted on the engine, also have the original 6 volt alternator to go with, i have a factory power steering pump with mount and hoses thats not mounted too.
I was told this was a good running motor when i got it. And by the looks of it i would believe it. Shows little signs of any oil leaks, new water pump, new cap and rotor with new spark plug wires and even the detailed out valve cover. I was goimg to use it in my wagon but my build plans have changed.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $150.
Maybe someone can use this.
“1946 4-cylinder Flathead Engine. Taken out of a 1947 CJ2 Willys Jeep $150”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $650.
Scott spotted this engine for sale. It seems a good price, but I don’t follow this market too closely. This combined with the Overland Diesel kit makes a good setup.
“I have a good running 4 cyl kubota IDI diesel engine. Spins freely, works well. About 3500 hrs. Was my back up skid steer engine. Did a full overhaul on my old engine. No longer need this. This motor does run.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $400.
“Prime candidate for rebuild, disassembled and fully cleaned. Standard bore and crank. Including oil pan and all pictured parts . T90,Dana18 .$650.00”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $450.
Could be worth a look. Given the oil filter bracket, this may be a CJ-3A era engine.
“Here is a Willys Jeep Industrial engine that originally powered a welder. The welder was bad and scrapped. This engine is loose and turns over but I’ve never heard it run; it was supposedly running when the welder unit failed. Should make a good engine for parts or might be restored. I understand these were used in the early Willys Jeeps including the CJ2A. Asking 450 or make an offer. It will part out for more than my asking price, so if it doesn’t sell soon I’ll just part it out. Text is best. If you are reading this ad then it’s still available; please be serious as I’ve dealt with all the deadbeats I want to.”
