This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. TJ shared the news that a modified 1946 CJ-2A will be raffled in August of 2019 to raise money for the Oregon Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of American. I’m not sure when the tickets will go on sale, but I’ll try to give an update when they do. (The 2018 Raffle vehicle was a 1959 Chevy Truck).

Thanks to Roger Martin, we have some early pics from the Toledo Jeep Fest. It is happening this weekend. You can see his FC with the Ottawa Factory Mounted Backhoe on it. He had to work hard to get it ready for this weekend’s event.

Tim wanted us to know that the Merrimack Valley Military Vehicle Collector Rally is happening this weekend in Weare, NH. The show features vendors with jeep parts and military surplus, etc. along with a wide variety of very interesting military vehicles both old and new, including a number of beautiful jeeps, WWII-Vietnam. The show is open to the public Friday and Saturday, 7/27 & 7/28.
