About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This is a very nice FC 150, runs and drives, I drove it in a 4th of July parade this past summer. The Jeep is all original, inside and out, this paint job is 25 plus years old, still looks good. Has been stored inside ever since then, only driven once in a while. I bought it two years ago from an estate when the owner passed away, it is a really cute old truck, but I have too many vehicles to maintain and store inside. The frame is solid, but has surface rust that needs to be sandblasted and repainted. The body is very solid, a few places on the rear fenders where the paint has peeled and there is a small surface rust patch. There are some rust holes in the body panels under the fenders along the frame rails, but these are easily fixed. It is not a show car, but could easily be restored to show condition or simply keep it and enjoy it like it is right now. 4WD works, drives straight, the engine smokes a little when it is started after sitting for a while, heater motor neesd replacing. I had to replace one brake line and cylinder when I bought it in order to drive it, the brakes all work now, we bled the lines, but could use a good pressure bleed, they still feel a little soft. I do have a reserve on this, but it is reasonable for an rare old Jeep. We can deliver if needed, however delivery costs are not included with the sale and no delivery will be made until full payment has been received. Enjoy bidding!”

“I have two Willys FC170’s for sale. I would also consider trading even for a J series pickup truck or a toyota 4×4 truck. I have 3 of these forward controls and I have come to realize I will never fix up all 3 of them. I am keeping the one I have the most money and time in and letting the other 2 go. They are projects and I have not messed with either of them or tried to get them running. They are both fairly complete with enough to make one complete truck if you combined the two easily. The orange truck is in really nice shape body wise (if I had got it first I would have used it as it is worlds better than what I am working with). The green truck has some body damage but its not very rusty either. Both are flathead 6 with the t90 three speeds and dana18 transfer cases. Green one is 1959 and Orange is a 1960.”
“No engine or transmission very little rust, windshield has a nick in it. rear glass good, door glass cracked. awesome wheeling project. Tim Allen just paid 40000 for a completely restored one in Arizona. clean colorado title”
There can’t be many of these available for purchase.
“This auction is for a original Operators Manual for the M676, M677, M678 & M679. Thes are the military versions of the FC170 Jeep that was printed in May of 1964 by Kaiser Jeep Corporation.”
“When was the last time you saw one of these ? Original drive train , flat head super 6 / three speed , full time 4×4 , low neutral high transfer case with PTO . Minimal rust , very low on rear cab corners and drivers floor . 7.50/16 deep lug tires , like new. Cool old truck – the only reason it’s for sale is to raise funds for a 46 Chevy COE wrecker project.”
