(07/10/2013) Nice looking truck!
“I am selling my 1957 Jeep FC-150. This truck is extremely rare and in pretty good condition considering the age. Not a high speed vehicle, has 5.33/1 differentials front and rear. But it drives really well and fun to drive! It is definitely a head turner!
I am including the original service manual(you could rebuild the entire truck using this)
It has original windows but they have cracks in them and the drivers side springs need to be replaced front and rear.
Everything has been gone over and replaced as needed.
History of work completed:
2009 Painted
2009 Interior reconditioned
2009 Tires replaced
2010 Hurricane F4-134 Engine rebuilt
Rods, Pistons, Rings, Valves, Seals (Less than 200 mi on engine)
2010 Clutch-Pressure Plate
2011 Radiator replaced
2011 Water pump replaced
2012 Master Cylinder replaced
2012 Borg Warner T90 Transmission rebuilt
2012 Shift Linkage rebuilt
2012 Battery
2012 Generator rebuilt
2012 Belts Replaced
With a little TLC this truck would easily be in show condition and/or your investment could be doubled. No rust problems on body as it spent most of its life in Texas.
The price I would like to receive is $9,200 but is negotiable.
Please no low ball offers and SERIOUS inquires only please
If you have any questions, please feel free to call or respond to the add and I will answer to the best of my ability.
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you”
Dave presented this great brass buckle to me at this years FC Roundup. I safely packed it away so that I wouldn’t lose it on the way home, but I packed it so good that I couldn’t find it. I finally found it looking for something else …. whew!
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
“This is a Jeep 1 ton truck. It is running and driving with a flatbed frame. I have too many projects and no time, so I must get rid of this one. My loss is your gain. 226 Super Hurricane inline 6 cyl, T-98 4 speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case. There is no rust on this truck so it is ready for a restoration or modification as you see fit.”
UPDATE: Was $1350. **SOLD**
Ouch .. the back of this cab must have been hit by a tree?
“1957 Willys Jeep FC-150 pickup. Four wheel drive. Truck is complete. Good for parts. Has clean NJ title. VIN: 6554813611.”
(06/12/09) The seller is kicking himself that he left this truck outside, which resulted in some surface rust.
“All original with bed and tailgate. 4WD with WARN hubs and overdrive. Never wrecked or rusty. Engine has 100 hours on rebuild. Drove it this morning, but needs brake fluid and TLC. I bought it 23 years ago in Calif. desert and has been inside here in MD for 10 years.”
UPDATE: Still Available

“Hello I have the astonishing fc 170 it starts right up. All transfer case gears work, clutch is great, all light work. It is immaculate, I give it a 9.9 out of 10 for the exterior. Interior is a 9out of 10. Tires, brakes, and transmission is perfect. Pink slip in hand. Serious buyers only. No trades. Everything works.”
Here’s a great price on parts.
“Up for sale is a rare red 1961 Jeep FC-170 3/4-ton pickup truck. Included in the sale is an additional green 1957 Jeep FC-170 parts truck. Price is for both trucks. The green truck has no title.
Both trucks are currently in pretty rough shape and need restoration. Not driving currently, but there is still alot to work with. I had intended to use the green one for parts to restore the red one, but lack of time and family obligations force the sale. I additionally do have the drivers door that is missing from the red one in the picture.
The 1961 FC-170 has a 327 ci Chevy V8 swapped in, with an aluminum v8 to jeep adapter plate and the stock 3 speed T90 transmission and two speed Spicer 18 transfer case. The other FC-170 has no engine (has same transmission and a transfer case as the other but had an overdrive that has been removed). Both trucks have the stock axles front and rear.
Lots of potential to make a very cool and unique truck. I need the space and will begin disassembly to scrap these in a week or so unless I have something in the works, so act now.
Asking $600 OBO for the pair. Email or call (360)471-seven-four-eight-seven.”
