Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “THIS IS A 1961 WILLYS JEEP FORWARD CONTROL CAB AND CHASSIS. STARTS QUICK AND PURRS LIKE A KITTY. IT DRIVES AS GOOD AS IT RUNS. FOUR WHEEL DRIVE WORKS GREAT IN HI AND LOW RANGE AND FRONT LOCKOUT HUBS TURN LOCKED OR UNLOCKED LIKE NEW
THERE IS NO BOX WITH IT BUT WE HAVE ALL THE CAB PARTS, ALL LIGHTS ETC TOO. THE PASSENGER SEAT IS MISSING THE CUSHIONS BUT DRIVER SEAT IS COMPLETE BUT NEEDS COVERING.
WE HAVE ALL THE WINDOWS BUT REAR AND DRIVERS DOOR WINDOW’S ARE CRACKED. EASY TO GET MADE BECAUSE THE ARE BOTH FLAT GLASS AND REASONABLE.
IT WILL MAKE A NICE FLAT-BED PICKUP OR LIGHT DUMP BED TRUCK. TIRES ARE ALL NEW AND THE WINDSHIELD IS GOOD, SOME SLIGHT FOGGING NEXT TO THE RUBBER ON EACH SIDE.
WE HAVE PUT IN A NEW WIRING HARNESS AND RECONDITIONED THE HEATER.
IT NEEDS SOME BODY WORK AS PHOTO’S SHOW BUT WILL MAKE A GREAT USABLE LITTLE TRUCK WHEN COMPLETED.”

The Cammo FC .. known for its stealth?
“Needs restored. Havent run for a couple of years. AT that time ran good and all gears worked in trans. Its been sitting. Has a Hurican 4 , 4cylinder engine and a manual trans. Ladder rack in picture doesnt go with. Brake pedal falls to the floor , brakes not working. Would consider trade for a cj7 jeep needing restored.”

This doesn’t run, but there looks like plenty of parts.
“Jeep FC-170 (forward control) 4WD truck with flatbed. engine is a inline 6 cylinder, manual transmission. Needs work to get this unit running and driving. No title, will have to apply for a lost or abandon vehicle title. I am not sure what year it is. These were made between 1959 thru about 1963. This is a non running project unit so don’t call and ask me stupid questions like if it can be driven home. the answer is NO…bring a trailer to pick it up.”
