Honestly, I’m not sure if this is a real card or not. But, the picture was cool, so I thought I’d post it.

(12/25/2012) This runs.
“This is a 85 plus percent complete Jeep FC170 ready to be restored. It has bee setting for about 6 years. The engine runs great, when I took these picture a couple months ago the engine fired right up after putting a little gas in carburetor and cleaning the points. The engine is the straight six Continental. The body has some sheet metal patches on it, the front bumper has been replaced with a very solid U channel beam, it does not have a tail gate. It does have a clear title.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
This will need some work, but the driver’s side cab looks pretty good.
“well, its a 57 jeep forward control 150, its the first year they made em, iv had this for a couple of years now, was going to be a project but i never got around to it, and now im moving to the city where i cannot have it. the guy i got from had just rebuilt the t-90 transmission and never put it back in and neither did i. its been converted over from the inline four it came with to a small block chevy v8, its a 265 cubic inch small block thats suposedly out of a 55 bel air. but iv never looked up the numbers to verify. the transmission has the adapter to fit the chevy bellhousing so it should bolt right up, i just never got around to it. iv not had to motor running but the guy i got it from said it ran when he started rebuilding the transmission and i know its not seized up. the tires that are on it are ruined from weather cracking, they look good in the pic but trust me theyre not. that pretty much sums it up. im asking $1000 obo”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Craig forwarded this ad. I think the seller meant that he “un-seized” the engine.
“I have a RARE 1957 Jeep FC 150 4X4. It is a really cool old rig. It has a lot of surface rust and it goes through on the drivers side floor and the passenger side back corner of the cab. Otherwise solid. I have un-ceased the motor, torn it down and repainted it (not to be pretty but to keep from rusting) I have everything needed to put it back together and get it running EXCEPT : New Clutch, Muffler, and exhaust. The rest is there! I also have a gasket set, new motor mounts and the original shop manual! I have web sites to get all the parts you need to restore. I am selling because it has sat for over a year without me having time to work on it. Cool rig I would love to see it on the road. They go for about $5-7k when they are all done. HAS TITLE!”
No pictures. Unclear if this is a dually or not.

(03/13/2011) This is a beautiful FC, however there are at least 3 issues I have with this: 1) See image #3, note the chevrolet like design … sigh … 2) See image #4, note the ‘150’ logo rather than ‘170’ … really? …. 3) the bumper isn’t quite stock, but doesn’t look all that bad.
