“I bought this just over 5 years ago in west Texas. It’s been garaged the entire 5 years it’s been in Michigan. According to the previous owner, it spent most of its life in New Mexico. The body has very little rust, quite a few dents and dings, and the frame is in great shape. It seems to be mostly complete. Comes with a replacement used windshield, back window, and side windows. I’ve never tried to get it running, so consider it needing a complete going through. It has the 3-speed transmission and Selectro hubs. Some tires hold air, some don’t for long. It rolls and the engine rotates. The Jayhawk dump apparatus in the bed is not included, however it is listed separately, see my other posting. The transfer case is also not included. I have a clear Michigan title in my name. VIN# 61568 21173”
Not sure how much value is here.

“HIS IS A UNIQUE JEEP PICKUP BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE A SNUB NOSE. THE FRONT OF THE RIG IS FLAT LIKE IT WAS HIT IN THE FRONT, BUT WAS JUST THE DESIGN. IT WAS ACTUALLY A VERY COOL LOOKING TRUCK. THE UNIT REQUIRED WEIGHTS UNDER THE BED TOWARD THE REAR SO IT WOULD NOT TIP ONTO ITS NOSE. THIS HAS A 4 CYLINDER ENGINE IN IT AS IT IS BASICALLY A HALF TON AND MOST OF THE FC 170 TRUCKS WERE AN INLINE 6 CYLINDER AS THEY WERE DESIGNED AS A 3/4 TON. IT HAD 4WD AND WAS A STICK SHIFT WITH NO SPECIAL AMENITIES LIKE A/C. Continue reading

Shoot me an offer that’s fair”

“Rare 1960 Forward Control Jeep FC150 for sale.
Sat for years until I bought it last summer. I had the stock F4-134 engine rebuilt, and the T90A transmission also rebuilt. Added a steel front bumper. Brakes do not work, electrical not hooked up. Bed intact. No title, will give a bill of sale. Original paint job shows it was used at the Snowshoe Dude and Guest Ranch in Kremmling CO. (Zane Grey wrote ‘The Mysterious Rider’ while staying there).”
This former SEMA FC sold for $159,500 at this year’s Scottsdale auction.

“This 1958 Jeep FC170 was completely hand-built by the Daystar team in Phoenix, AZ. Hundreds of hours went into the building of this Jeep, and it was featured at the 2015 SEMA show. The combination of the all-terrain wheels and tires, and separate Mattracks 88 Series tracks, the vehicle can tackle any terrain on tires or treads. The custom body of the FC170 is protected by a beautiful 3-stage custom Metallic Viper Green paint accented with a pearlescent cream. The Daystar team did an outstanding job on the quality of finish, raw power and off-road prowess. It’s powered by a 5.7-liter 8-cylinder engine backed by an automatic transmission. This Jeep is still in great condition to this day. Both wheels and tires, and Mattracks tracks are included in the sale.”
Only pics of one FC.
