(06/24/2024) Given how these are priced as projects, this doesn’t seem like a crazy price to me.

“FC-170 For Sale. I’m listing this for a friend thats not online. 1964 FC-170 4 x 4 runs and drives, registered and insured. Hurricane 6 cylinder with 3 speed manual shift. Has an overdrive unit but the actuating cable is currently broken. The windshield is in good shape. The driver door glass is cracked. The frame looks clean. The cab has some rust holes but not too bad. It has a nice solid oak bed. My buddy inherited this from his Dad who owned a local Jeep dealership in town back in the day. This thing has been stored inside for the last 40-50 yrs! Comes with a CT bill of Sale. Vintage vehicles like this don’t have titles in CT, located in Canton CT, $15,000 cash.”

“Must sell, will take first reasonable offer. 1957 Jeep fc 170 manual transmission 4×4 needs bed and/or full restoration. It’s an inline Chevrolet 6cyl. Runs, drives and brakes. Definitely a project though… I was going to build and put a flatbed on it. Just too many projects and want to move this one along. This is a project!”
There’s some value here. That bed looks to be about 6′ x 9′, which I could potentially repurpose for the bed of the Tour jeep.

“I have a Willy’s jeep FC170 with 6 cylinder hurricane engine 3sp manual high ,low range. Truck ran year ago. This is a project, that I have no time to complete. It has some rust but overall is a solid body. This is a rare rig.”
