Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Hasn’t been driven since I was in middle school. That’s a long time!
“All original with 31,000 miles. Engine turns and cranks. Hasn’t been driven since 1977. Very rare and complete. Only going up in value. Price negotiable.”

“Odometer reads 60,417 miles, 3.7 liter, 226cu “Super Hurricane” Inline 6, 4 speed Borg Warner T-98, 4×4, mechanically sound, runs and drives, brakes work well, decent tires. This truck needs bodywork. Included with the sale area good roof, a pair of doors, N.O.S. tailgate, N.O.S. front fender flares, good used fender flares, 2 heater units, and other misc. small parts. Pictures of these parts can be sent by request. This unique vehicle is perfect for the hobbyist in mind or drive it as-is for a yard truck.”

“1960 Jeep Willy Forward control Pickup with small block Chevrolet motor running when installed. 4 speed transmission and transfer case in goodshape needs drive shaft electrical and gas lines ran. great 4-wheel drive project. Minimal surface rust good body good frame.Just don’t have time.”

These don’t pop up for sale often!
“If you know what this is, you know that they do not come up for sale very often. This is the 4 door military version of the FC170 cab over pickup truck built by Willys and the Kaiser Jeep from 1956 to 1965. They say that around 400 of them were built for the Navy in 1964. This is 1 of the approximately 50 know to still exist. She has a South Carolina windshield registration tag from 1975, but she has been in Michigan for at least 10 years and is now located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
The Good:
#264 of approximately 400 M-677s ever built. This vehicle is still in very original condition with it’s complete Cerlist 3 cylinder, 2 stroke, supercharged diesel engine, T-90 Transmission, Spicer 18 Transfer Case and full interior. All the glass is there and good, except for a small crack in the Driver’s door main window at the bottom that is barley visible. Interior and floor steel are in very good condition. I have a clear title.

This looks like a nice rig.
” Up for Auction is a 1963 FC-170 wrecker. I’ve decided it was time to let someone else have some fun with this very unique piece of Jeep history. Everything works on the truck. It’s been in the shed for the last 6 years only taken out one or twice during the summer to cruise around a little It runs and drives. This last winter was not good when I opened the shed in the spring I found that the two side windows cracked and something dinged the cab, it will need a tune up as it runs a little rough.”
It doesn’t run, but mightn’t take much to get it going.
“1961 Jeep FC-170 truck. I put this truck up in my tools head some time ago. At that time the four wheel drive,transmission and winch worked well. At that time I had not had it running for some time. I did put a temporary battery in it today and it does turn over. It may be something simple or worse so it is an as is vehicle. I have equipment to load on a trailer. It is an original truck with the original engine. The truck is not a rust bucket and none of the glass is broken. It would make a great rat rod. I have put a very reasonable reserve. ”
