“THIS IS A 1960 WILLYS FORWARD CONTROL JEEP PICKUP TRUCK. IT WAS RESTORED ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO, AND IS SHOWING SOME SIGNS OF NEEDING SOME FRESHENING UP. IT LOOKS LIKE NEW FROM 15 FEET, BUT THERE IS SOME BUBBLING AND CRACKING HERE AND THERE IN THE PAINT. THE MILEAGE WAS SET BACK TO ZERO WHEN IT WAS RESTORED. THE INTERIOR IS REALLY NICE AND SO IS THE BED. IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL WEIGHT ON THE FRAME. THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE IS COMPLETE AND WORKING. IT RUNS AND DRIVES BUT NEEDS A TUNE UP. I HAVE ORDERED THE PARTS AND SHOULD HAVE THEM, BEFORE THE END OF THIS AUCTION. I WILL ADD SOME MORE PICTURES IN A DAY OR TWO. PLEASE DON’T ASK ABOUT THE RESERVE, IT’S LOW. “1957 Jeep FC 150. Foreward cab, 4 wheel drive pick up with low and high speed T90 transmission. 12 forward gears. Engine is 4 cylinder flathead and has not been started and is not stuck.

Bucket seats and original carpet. needs to be re-upholstered. Cab has small rust spots on rain gutter and windshields but no sign of rusted thru. A magnet did not reveal any bondo patches in body.

A Ramsey 10,000 lb PTO winch is mounted on the front with tow bar.

Speedometer reads 358 miles, apparently is 100,358. Seller has good title.

Tires hold air but are 20 years old. Paint is 20 years old but buffs up good except on rust spots. An installation of an after market over drive will allow legal highway speeds.”

“This is a rare cab-over style Forward Control Jeep with a 2.3 liter F-head 4-cylinder engine, 3-speed T-90 manual transmission, and two-speed T-18 transfer case. I have a clear Texas title in my name. These unusual trucks draw a lot of attention.

The engine and transfer case have seen no use since being rebuilt and they are out of the vehicle, along with the gearbox. Radiator is rebuilt. This truck was sold new in the Phoenix, AZ area and remained there with the original owner’s family until I brought it to central Texas about five years ago, so body corrosion is minimal. Brakes are rebuilt with no miles on them. All window glass is good. Comes with new hoses, wiring harness, clutch, pressure plate, brakes, a spare set of doors, rear window glass, bare cylinder head, spare disassembled 3-speed gear box, vacuum brake servo, plus various extra pieces of trim, and small mechanical items….”
