UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500

According to the seller, that is the original paint.

“For sale is a original and rare 1959 FC170 with the 9 foot bed option. Original paint, never been repainted. Two previous owners, complete and fully documented ownership history, including the original dealership bill of sale. Everything works. Everything on the Jeep is original, the interior is complete, seat upholstery is original, the running gear is refurbished and works as it should, including the engine, the 3 speed manual, the transfer-case, 4 wheel drive, axles, diffs, all in good running condition. Rebuild gas tank and rebuild the sending unit. This Jeep drives real nice, and everything works, the heater, all the electrical, the turn signals, lights. Complete with original headliner, original door panels, original sun visors, and a few rare items like a vinyl cigarette box holder attached to the visor. The stencil “Jeep” and “4 Wheel Drive” insignias on the tailgate are original. The tires are original old stock, most likely the second set, dating early 60’s. A true survivor, this Jeep spent 90% of her life in one family, who owned a RV business in a small town in Washington State. The Jeep was mostly used to plow occasional snow on the RV lot, otherwise the Jeep parked in the dry. The body is completely stock and original, no accidents, no rust with the exception of pitting and surface rust on rear fender flares and surface rust on the bed floor. Because it is so original I never had plans to repaint or frame-off restore this Jeep, I always loved the original condition it is in. I just made everything work properly, with the goal to avoid any modern upgrades or parts replacements that are not era correct. This Jeep drives real nice, it breaks properly, shifts nicely and the engine sounds very healthy. This FC170 is a true survivor. Your chance to own a piece of Jeep history. Original West Coast Jeep all her life! The snow plow mechanism works, but I do not have the plow blade. This FC170 is incredible. West Coast Jeep all her life, documented ownership history, I am the 3rd owner. I even have the original dealership bill of sale from 1959! Original paint!!!!! Surface rust on bed, fenders, but NO critical rust in all the common areas!”

1959 FC-170 Jaffery, Nh eBay

This was formerly a Fire FC.

“This ’59 has a rare cab with 16,900 original miles. Was originally a fire truck, was disassembled and kept in a barn for years.  Previous owner sandblasted frame and undercarriage which is in excellent condition.  265 engine was completely rebuilt and a very rare 4-speed transmission was added.  A steel dump body with dual pistons was custom made. Dump works perfectly.  Chrome dual pipes were added for charm and a great sound. Truck goes like crazy!  What it needs:  a bumper, needs wipers connected, and the heater hose needs connecting.  It won’t take much to finish it off!  I don’t have the time or energy to do it myself.  Call if you have a question – 603-532-7645 or email.  Paypal or certified bank check”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

This seller must sell a variety of trucks, including this FC and a soon to be listed 1965 Willys Jeep FC170 DRW.

“1957 Willys FC150 4 cyl. 3 spd. 4X4. First off I am going through a divorice and I have to sell most of my trucks. The starting bid is what I can get for it as scrap. There is NO RESERVE. I hope that doesn’t happen. If in the event I don’t sell the truck, I will take it apart and scrap the shell. So if you see a part you need, let me know when the auction is over.

I regret that I must sell my trucks. This is a 57 FC150 that runs good, all the 4X4 works, has lock out hubs, electric fuel pump, GM alternator, and already has 11″ brakes installed on the front. I have 11″ backing plates and 1 drum for the rear that are included. The cab needs some some work. The bed is really good shape for one of these trucks. They are usually the hardest part to find. The 65 FC150 I will be listing later has a bed, but not as nice as this one. The windshield is cracked, but a good one is included. Also included with this truck is a complete 4 spd. set up for an FC150, 2 original gas tanks, a whole rear half of a cab, a whole front half of a cab, 2 doors for parts and a rear frame section that has a counterweight and mounting brackets. The rear cab section is good for patches for the lower cab corners. I have an early cab heater that is included, but it is pieces. The 2 brown seats in the pictures are included. If I think of anything else I will add it. I have a clear title. I have engines, transmissions, transfercases, rears if someone needs parts. I will add a link to Photobucket for more pictures. If you would like additional pictures, just send me your email address. If you have any questions please ask. I encourage anyone interested to come look at the truck. I work nights and am available during the day.”

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was $3100

(03/23/2010) It should run once the carb is cleaned.

“This is an incredable find! This FC150 is a wide track 79″ wheelbase with all the hard to find parts…gas tank, tail gate, windshield, original seats, exterior cab lights. Has a new battery. The engine is a 1963 Ford 170 straight 6 and turns over freely. Once the carburator is cleaned, it should fire right up. ”

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was on eBay.

(08/21/2010) “Here is one of the rarest Jeeps out of my collection, and by far the most original un-restored complete Jeep, a 1959 FC170 with the 9 foot bed option.  Original paint, never been repainted.  Paint has great patina and shows age of the Jeep.  Two owners, complete and fully documented ownership history, including the original dealership bill of sale.  I went through this Jeep and made everything work.  Original engine needed spark plugs and a tune up and a new generator.  I found an original era correct generator.  Everything on the Jeep is original, the interior is complete, seat upholstery is original, the running gear is refurbished and works as it should, including the engine, the 3 speed manual, the transfer-case, 4 wheel drive, axles, diffs, all in good running condition.  I cleaned and re-sealed the tank and rebuild the sending unit. The Black/Yellow California plates are not original, they are new personalized DMV issue and I painted them to the correct colors. The license plate does read “59FC170″ and is included in this sale. I added the vintage ’59 Texas truck plates for looks, this Jeep was never registered in Texas.  Original West Coast Jeep all her life!  The rare Texas plates are also part of the sale. The snow plow mechanism works, but I do not have the plow blade.  This Jeep, like all my other Jeeps listed for sale on Ebay, has valid and current California Registration, new tags good through 2011.  The title is clear and in my name.  I have collected Jeeps for many years, and I am selling a number of rare Jeeps out of my collection.”

1959 FC-170 Missoula, MT **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3450.

The seller also has a FC-150, though it doesn’t appear to be for sale.

“VERY good body, and as you can see… original tailgate stenciling is still alive and well! Engine (Original) has been started but will need rings at least. A “plus” as is if you have mosquito issues. If you’re not in the mood to rebuild… A perfect engine swap is the 60 degree V-6 Chev found in tons of S-10 pick-ups and other. They’re all over the place and they fit under the “dog house” without modifications to the sheet metal.”
