About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This is a project I started, and found out I just don’t have time to complete…. I have over 4500$ invested plus the time to install rear brakes, floor, get running properly etc…the running gear of this truck is what truly drives the value, making it a viable project. If buy it now is used, I will include home made flatbed, with fiberglass tool boxes(will include a pic later)I WOULD NOT BE SELLING except my wife says it needs to be gone…. my loss is your gain…..”

(01/23/2018) Thanks to Scott for spotting this one. It may need some work.
“1958 Willy’s fc 170 good condition has hurricane flathead head 6 cylimder 4 speed manual transmission 4wd. Has everything to make complete. $5000 obo or trade call or text.”
Chad shared this auction. The Bring-A-Trailer bid as of this writing is $11,500. I’m a bit floored by that bid, as the paint isn’t perfect and there are some dings in the metal.
“This 1963 Jeep Forward Control 170 (FC-170) was recently acquired by the Kentucky-based selling dealer from its previous owner in Georgia. Power comes from a 226ci Super Hurricane inline-six paired to a 3-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle had been used as a daily driver, and the prior owner installed locking hubs, a new exhaust system, auxiliary gauges, new tail lights, a new fuel tank, carburetor, air cleaner assembly, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and much more as detailed below. Three months ago, the seller also fitted new period-correct wheels and new tires, re-wired the headlights, and added a new fuel pump, spark plugs, coil, and distributor. The four-wheel-drive system is claimed to work well, and this Jeep is now being offered with a receipt for the seller’s recent service, along with a clean Kentucky title.”
“Less that 50,00 Original Miles! Jeep FC 170 4×4 Super Rare!
Needs some love but has always been taken care of. 3 owners to the best of my knowledge. Runs great, original motor. Very small leak from the pan, only needs a new pan gasket. No rust holes or any significant rust for that matter. Original paint as well, however could use a new paint job.
1 dent behind the driver door can see in pic would be an easy fix. Ready for restoration or even just a fun truck to cruise around. Again these things are pretty hard to find in good shape let alone running. With less than 50,000 original miles its a gem!
