About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“willys jeep forward control 170 parts..2 right side cab doors in great shape, with windows handles and arm rests very little rust, filler plate for between bumper and cab, extra vent windows, dash, ash tray, headlight bezels, shifter pedals, factory copper radiator (nice), flat head six engine in parts, and more…$700 takes all”
“We bought these a while back as projects for our shop. Well, we got caught up doing other things and these got pushed to the back burner and now they are just sitting here taking up space. It is going to be a long time before we get to them, so it is time to let them go to someone who can probably use them for parts or to rebuild. I was told that one was a 57 and one was a 58, but someone has since told me one is a widetrack and is a newer model. Not sure what year though. They both have a lot of rust. One has the doghouse and tailgate, the other does not. They are both missing the seats. One of them has a better body and one has a better bed, but they both have the complete 4-cyl driveline. One of them supposedly ran but we never got a chance to try it out.”
“Well here it is ready to be finished off the hole underneath was a body off or stored sandblasted frame went through the differentials check the motor had plenty of compression need to hook up brakes and drive shaft only needs body work to be completed almost all parts are there except for back windshield back window that’s flat that’s easy I’ll have a new Painless wiring harness and new carburetor ”
“Rare 1959 FC 150 Willys Jeep. Original flat 4 engine. I have owned her since 2001. She ran fine and I drove her up until 2014. 3 speed tranny with Hi/Lo mode. She is red/white. She is in rough shape now, has body cancer, doors and windows not working, and more. She has not been run in two years so I can’t vouch for anything working. All offers will be considered. Any questions please contact Jeff.”
“Body work completed, drive train complete with 4 x 4 locking hubs. Dump body, wiring complete. Price as stated or BRO. Reason for selling: relocating. Will discuss transportation.”
“I have a 1957 jeep fc150 for sale. Runs drive and stops needs some tlc to make road worthy this thing is super neet I just don’t have time to give it the attention it needs. Price is $1800. If interested give me a call”
“Here is a one of a kind ’59 FC170. First of all, I do sell some vehicles on Ebay, almost always old farm trucks, as I live here in the middle of Kansas. I enjoy dealing with the farmers I buy them from, love getting them running again, and also enjoy meeting the people who buy them and seeing where they go. I’ve rescued a lot of old farm trucks. But this one is definitely different. First of all, I’m a little bit of a jeep nut. I have 2 49 jeeps, a 76 Cj7, and numerous AMC vehicles as well. I have never, however, owed a forward control jeep. I was offered the chance to purchase this one, and immediately snapped it up.
The only reason I am offering this for sale, is that I’m more of an original vehicle type of guy, and although this truck has had a ton of money spent on the be and winch, I would prefer one with the original bed. Without exception, until now, I always list my vehicles with a starting price of $10.00 and no reserve. I’ve noticed that there is an ebay law of averages. Sometimes they sell a little high, or a little low, but usually sell for about market valve. This one is a little different, as it’s pretty hard to value, so, I decided if it sells for $4500, o.k. if not, o.k. I’ll put it in my collection. Continue reading →
“I am 80 now and the wife says all the project have to go–. This is another project I just do not have time for.
Cab Forward Jeeps were produced from 1957 thru 1965 this one is a 1959 model, short wheel base (81″), the four cylinder motor is 134 cubic inches and rated at 75hp. The first thing I did with this vehicle was to disassemble it and take all sheet metal inside and out to the blaster once that was done red oxide primer was shot on all the bare metal. The cab was then placed back on the chassis. This is as far as I have got on this project. This vehicle when I purchased it did not have a bed, we drove it 8 miles from the purchase site to my place of business. All the gears and the 4wd worked as they should have. This is a roller”
“Rare Jeep FC-170, complete truck, but realize this is a project, I pulled it out of a field in Kansas this last April, where it sat for 22 years. I have a title but it is a Kansas title in the original owners name. The truck has some questionable body work(Bondo) but it is all there. IT DOES NOT RUN NOR DOES IT HAVE BRAKES. The original 6 cyl motor is free and with some gas and a battery it should start, as the carb has been rebuilt, has new wires and plugs, and fresh oil. I have the original Jeep Rims and other parts that will go with it. I lost interest in this and just would like to move it along, price is negotiable but don’t make any offers with out coming to look at it, Cash only!! ”
“I’ve got this cool old truck ive been tinkering on for a year now. Ive replaced various things and though it runs good when it runs, i just can’t get it right. Its got lots of rust and some body damage but all the parts are there except for the bed. Original gas tank was hopeless so it’s running off a fuel cell. Its got 2 inch wheel spacers to accommodate the larger tires but still have the original rims. Its a one ton.
This truck would make a really cool hunting rig or just something to drive around in the mountains if you want to put the work into it. It IS a project. They’re quite rare. Have clean title in hand.
Id like to trade this for a good running 3/4 ton or better truck.
The bigger the better, needs to pull a travel trailer. Im open to an suv or even a van if its heavy and in good shape.
I don’t know what the truck’s worth but i dont want to trade for anything with major issues. I don’t mind something ugly. Just depends what it’s worth to you. Please send pics. Thanks for reading.”
