This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD for $6500** Needed some work.
“Relocating and have to reduce the herd a little. This is a 1958 Jeep Willys FC150 Forward Control. It has the 4 cyl engine, I believe they came with the L head 134 CI. It runs and drives, but the water pump is starting to leak. The electrical system looks like it was patched together from a more modern vehicle and all accessories don’t work. A new wiring harness will be included with the sale. A former owner had filled in the area under the bed with riveted sheet metal that looks to be ductwork material. I had started removing this sheet metal, but didn’t get very far. I replaced the leaky gas tank with a new one. It had a boom wrecker in the bed when I purchased it, but the wrecker and flashing lights have been removed. I have a clear Illinois title. When I looked up the VIN, it indicates that it is a 1957 model. I think back then, some states titled vehicles in the year that they were purchased, which may explain why it is titled as a 1958.”

Jack shared this ad. The FC needs some work. It is listed as a 1968 and seller describes it as an AMC jeep even though it has a Willys Jeep tag.

Craig spotted this chassis that’s listed as a 1958 CJ-5. If this has dually adapters, it is definitely worth the price.

Dually. Does not run. Motor and drive train all there.

(12/07/2016) It has some updates, but has sat a while. Engine will start.
“This is a clean straight rare and desirable fc150. Been in our family since 1974. In the late 70s the engine was updated to a 327 chevy with adapter plate so the rest is still jeep drivetrain. Has not run in years but will.”
