This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This jeep is being sold for the drivetrain. It has been sitting for 15 years, not sure if the engine turns but after it was parked the vowner put trans. fluid in all the cylinders. This has the original weight mounted under the rear for ballist.”

“1962 JEEP / WILLYS 150fc ( forward controls) Very nice 327 Chevy 4 v install.. The heads were just done by Paradise Machine shop … 4 inch lift kit. ,,, disc brakes, runs and drives but need axles rebuilt.. comes with a set of perfect leather jeep commando seats. Brand new exhaust system. Brand new tires. Very rare truck”

(12/10/2016) The engine will run.
“Excellent candidate for a restore, no major dents, all parts are there including the glass windshield wiper container, sorry it is missing the side windows.on each door. Very minimal surface rust on body and frame. It has a 4cyl with I believe to be a manual 3 spd tranny , 19,200 miles on engine and body. It does run if you add gas straight to the carb but it is need of a fuel pump and converted to a 12v system.
If you purchase this Jeep you are responsible for getting the car hauler and removing the vehicle. I will not deliver unless you live within 50 miles of Helena, MT and there will be an extra charge of $100 for that.”
In 2014, Ann ran into two women who operated a mobile wood fired pizza truck called Hoptown Pizza. The two, Carrie Wright and Lori Roy, didn’t know much about their funky little truck, so Ann explained to them that it was an FC-150 and that there was a whole network of folks who owned FCs.

This winter, the pair plan to open up a rustic wood fired restaurant about a 50 minute drive west of us near Yakima, Washington. As part of their efforts, they are running a kick starter campaign. (10/25/2016) Needs plenty of work.
“Up for sale is a very rare jeep pickup truck.
It’s a 1961 jeep Fc 170.
They only made 30k of these in the few years they were produced.
This one does need a lot of work to the body to be road worthy but they are extremely hard to find.
This has a flathead 6 in it and a 3 speed transmission. The front axle is a Dana 44 and the rear is a Dana 53. ”

(10/16/2016) This M170 has had the large opening partially filled. It also has a Meyer half top. I’m not sure why the seller has included a photo of an FC, but maybe it is for sale?
