Amusement Ride Jeep **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
John is selling this amusement ride jeep. Note that the steering wheel doesn’t turn the wheels. See description.
“For sale is a used Junior Pro Amusement Ride Jeep Fire Truck. 50 inches long x 21 inches wide x 15 inches high
These were originally built as pedal cars. This one was adapted to be used on an amusement ride. It has been repainted at least once. See pictures for condition.
EDIT 3/22/15 *Please note the next to last picture. The front wheels are fixed in position by a turnbuckle. The steering wheel is not connected to the front wheels. The steering wheel just spins and is just for effect.
There are some minor dings and there are signs of filler. No rust-thru. Some surface rust. Wheels are in very poor condition. Front spindles are worn.
Wheels and steering wheel are not original. No windshield or ladder included. The hitch and wooden seat back are not original parts. They were added as part of the amusement ride modifications.

East Penn Jeepers License Plate Frame on eBay
Seth spotted this unusual item.
“garage sale find: older heavy duty frame and plate with a cool older fifties or sixties jeep…….remember them ? great graphics on plate with the frame needing some TLC or POLISHING. selling cheap as found at $9.99 and no reserve. may look good mounting it just as it is !!! unfortunately the heavy frame will add some costs to shipping (about 3 lbs) to the costs. If I am way off (more than $3 ) I will return some of the shipping charges…….this is a ballpark guess for the listing. Priority mail shipping with tracking and insurance added free. check my 100% feedback to bid safe every time ! see my other auctions for more rare finds”
Rock Garden Jeep in Texas Hill Country
I ran across this unusual rock and cactus garden. Note that it is a lefty CJ-2A. There seems to be some usable parts left on this old flattie.
Don Prine Has Passed
A legend in the jeep world, Don Prine passed away this morning at the age of 97. Involved in jeeps since the age of the prototypes (he was one of the drivers who drove a jeep up the capital steps in early 1941), Don has lived and breathed jeeps — jeeping, racing, selling parts and servicing them through Prine Jeep — his entire life. I used to see him at races when I was a kid. In 2008 I spoke to him over the phone about stainless bodies; he couldn’t have been more helpful. He will be missed.

DJ-6 Equipment Specs Brochure **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Here’s some good details about the rare DJ-6. Seller appears to be parting out similar specs that probably came from the same booklet.
Hesse Hornet Air Compressor **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This is a little confusing. Seller calls this a CJ-6A engine, but the tag reads CJ-3A. It’s a flathead, so the CJ-6A designation seems incorrect.
“For sale is a 1963 Hesse Hornet compressor made by the Hesse Carriage Co. It was designed to sit in the back of a pick-up or on it’s own small trailer. This particular Hesse uses a rare Jeep Kaiser 4cyl CJ-6A engine. It pumps air by having two of the 4 cylinders blocked off to compress while the other two function normally. The engine itself looks good and runs great. It may need a small tune-up from storage but nothing major. It does not come with a battery or gas tank. I tested it by rigging up a temporary tank.
