Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Propeller Shaft Guards for a CJ-2A are rare to find. So, discovering a NOS Propeller Shaft Guard is super duper rare (that is pretty rare, isn’t it?). Kyle from East Coast Willys was fortunate enough to purchase this gem and kind enough to share his find with us. Great find Kyle!

A reader has purchased one of these very rare Grade A Equipment mower attachments.
Charles shared these photos from the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Antwerp (September 4, 1944). Obviously not all these are WWII jeeps, but it’s all for fun and remembrance 🙂

What i thought was interesting in this photo was the windshield marking. I’ve not encountered a white oval with writing like that.

Cool letterhead.
“This is an Original Color Patriotic Letterhead dated 1942 Featuring a U S Army Jeep chasing Hitler, Mussolini and Tito Right off the map. Great item printed by “Copyright 1942 By Porto Server Chicago”. The 7” X 10 1/2” letter sheet is in excellent condition. This is one of a collection of WWII Patriotic Stationary items we have on auction at this time.”

No year for the negative of this jeep marked 20112942. The men seem to be enjoying themselves.
