Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Dorothea Lange is famous for her Depression era photo of a migrant mother. In the 1950s she traveled to Southeast Asia. Fortunately for us, she took some jeep photos while she was there and the Online Archives of California has preserved them.
