Hugh’s New CJ-2A
Hugh spotted this on eWillys and went to look at it. He was pleasantly surprised to discover it was better than it looked in the pictures, so he bought it.
He writes, “This is the 47 cj2a i picked up in niangua missouri. The thing runs like a sewing machine. The previous owner and his brother meticulously maintained the drive train. The shock absorbers are shot, the springs are flat and it needs new tires. I put more than fifty miles on it today and it seems very dependable. Its very original but not a show piece, but heck, i just like to drive em, preferably off road!”

“This is a highly desirable and very scarce original snapshot photo of a handsome fellow in a jeep, reverse says “note athlete’s foot” — as shown, terrific period details, roughly five by four inches, mild wear. This originally came from a northern VT estate, and has been in my own collection for many years.”

4 Willys Double-sided Papers Signs on eBay
“Collectible 1950’s Jeep/Willys 4 Paper Banner Double Sided Signs 17″ x 12″. I found these signs picking a long closed dealership. Great collectibles for the Jeep/Willys fans. The signs are in very good condition. There is some slight soiling, sun-fading, and very slight tears. The one sign (refer to photos) has the hanging slot torn away. No damage to inhibit displaying in a man cave, business, or garage. They will be shipped flat.”
