This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Clean body.. a lot of the rear and side glass is cracked.. front windshield is good.. no rust.. straight body.. original bumpers.. cool 70s Cragar wheels. good floors.. everything is there..
No paper work.. off dmv system..
Real head turner.. great for advertising.. or just an unusual rare toy that you can actually use like a truck or van..
there is a pretty good following for these rare jeeps.. when properly restored they can bring over 20k.. asking 4500.”

(05/29/2014) Runs and drives. The photos show no bumpers, glass, grill, lights, window wipers ect, but are all included with the truck with all its original hardware.

Mike spotted this FJ look-alike. Is there some type of connected history between these ‘Zips’ and the FJ-3 & FJ-3As? Or was USPS dictating the design?
“BUY IT NOW OR MAKE OFFER on this very rare US MAIL 1963 Studebaker Zip Van that has spent it’s life in southern New Mexico and is sun baked with the cool ratrod patina everyone is looking for. It has been sitting for years and does have a lot of surface rust and little rust through on the body(look at closeup pictures of the rust area’s). It is not running and has not run in years but it does roll fine for transport. It does NOT have a title, buyer will get a bill of sale only and the auction receipt that I got when I bought it. please look at all 60+ pictures with closeups. please ask questions before buying or making offer, if you have less then 10 feedback or are outside the US please email before buying or making offer, I am trying to show everything I could find wrong with the truck, it is not running nor have I tried starting it.”

“This is a 1963 Willys Mail Truck that was turned into an ice cream truck at some point. The truck needs full restoration, it has been sitting outside for a long time. Both rear leaf springs broke with the shackles holding the axle tube on the drivers side. This could be a very cool project for someone. “
