Runs and drives, but needs some TLC.

“For your consideration, a WW2 jeep, a Ford GPW, DOD 6/11/1945. This is a running vehicle, licensed and clear title, but needs some TLC, of course. It has matching serial numbers of engine, body, and frame. The engine is a recent rebuild with about 100 miles on it. The body is in fair shape and has many F marked parts. The bumper is not original and the rare crossmember is missing. It has been converted to 12 volt key start, and has an upgrade T-90 transmission. It has turn signals, hazards, seat belts, and an electric WS wiper for the driver side. It has aftermarket vinyl top and doors. The jeep has been outfitted with 11″ brakes and Rancho springs and shocks. There is a new master cylinder, new left wheel cylinder, new flexible left brake line. The fuel system has an original fuel tank, boiled out and relined, new fuel line with additional fuel filter inline, new fuel pump, rebuilt original Carter W-O carburetor. The air filter has been overhauled. The front seats are overstuffed naugahyde. It could probably use new tires soon. It can be a candidate for retro to original WW2 configuration, or continue with what you have. “

“Disassembled. 99.9% parts complete for rebuild. Motor, transmission, transfer, axles rebuilt; all cleaned, primed and OD/Ford Blue painted. Frame is blasted, primed and OD painted. Correct carb, radiator, radio filterette, rear bumperettes, spare tire bracket, etc. All 3 seats, 4 new 16-inch NDT tires, 5 combat wheels, pintle hitch, top bow, windshield, new Beachwood Canvas. Original tub is VG+ condition. All visible Fs original, NOS or repro for correct rebuild. Everything is there for a May/June 1943 DOD! Pictures available. $5000 OBO.”

“Jeep was acquired for a restoration project and stored in an enclosed barn for the past 10 years.
I have come to the realization that I will not be able to get to restoring it. It has a lot of potential as it comes with the original motor, drivetrain, frame and body. It has areas of rust and missing the fuel tank. The jeep is loaded with “f” marked parts and has all original Glove Box identification plates.
A great project. Jeep does not have title, but will come with a bill of sale and copy of the original bill of sale.”

“45 gpw jeep. Fairly rust free. Has 11″ brakes, warn overdrive, buick v6, front locker, power steering and tilt column. Comes with roll cage and soft top as well. Clean title in my name!
