Major Joe forwarded some pics from the 2013 Military Vehicle show at Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ. There were quite a few jeeps at the event. Thanks for sharing!
He wrote, “I attended the annual Military Vehicle show at Falcon Field here in Mesa Saturday (had to find another way to get my Willy’s/Flat fender fix since your site was down!). Anyway, I thought I’d share the pics with you (attached). It’s a great event, and included military motorcycles, dozens of non-jeep vehicles, a half track, helicopter, and many aircraft (always on display since this is the home of the AZ chapter of the Commemorative Air Force).”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4200
“1942 GPW matching numbers title frame and engine. Very hard to find! Engine runs well, 90 PSI all cylinders. 50 PSI oil cold, drops to 40 plus at fast idle warm. T-84 intact. Tub could be saved, but not for faint of heart. Missing: Correct grill, seats, gas tank and rear script. Incorrect air cleaner, oil filter (has full flow) and wheels. Very good frame.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
The front frame rails look a little odd. I’m guessing they weren’t repaired correctly.

I’m generally pretty good with match, but I can’t figure out how the matching numbers on this jeep match. The rear of the body looks dented inwards.
“Great Project
Matching numbers
Frame # GPW183017
Body # 17539
Engine # 1830172
New Battery
Four 15 inch Rims included ( Odd ball 13 inch on the jeep now)
I got it running but it’s been sitting for a few months, had to use a gas can because tank is rusty but could be repaired.
Previous owner had the running gear gone thru, you’ll have to look at it to decide.
