Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Engine not original, but looks pretty good.

“I have a running 1944 Ford GPW war jeep. Flathead 4 cyl, three speed and is 6 volt. It comes with 5 split open combat rims and operations/repair manual. Could be a great restore project or use it as a farm vehicle as I did. It will need a tune up, new carb or rebuild and probably flywheel reground and clutch plate. It does run but because of the carb it’s a little hard starting.
I’m looking to trade for an old ford 8n/9n or similar tractor with PTO & 3 point that I can use around the farm. Its okay if it needs a little work done, but should run.

This has seen a few mods, including a rear gas tank with the filler through the rear passenger side.
