This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I can’t tell how much value is here, but it does look to have a GPW body (albeit with a cut tailgate area).

Seller also has a 1943 MB Trailer he is willing to sell for $1500. Though there are pics of the jeeps assembled, they are both disassembled.

“This is a repost of an original listing I mistakenly first put under auto parts. Its listed here as a Wrangler because FB doesnt offer any selections for ww2 stuff. This is a posting for a 1942 Ford GPW, and a body tub for a 1943 Ford GPW, and lots of miscellaneous parts. Also, for sale seperately is a 1943 MB trailer. ***I DONT HAVE EXTRA PARTS*** I restored a GPW a few years back, with the intention to restore at least one more jeep. These are the parts I have left over, and have decided not to do another restoration. Id prefer to sell everything all at once, as one package; You can then sell off what you dont need or want.
This has some rare Desert Dog PCV tires (in poor shape). The GPW script body appears to be sitting on a CJ chassis, based on the location of the rear shock frame mounts.

(02/17/2022) Has a Bobcat hood and stainless windshield.
“Selling my 1942 GPW. Has a ford 302 in it with a Saginaw 4 speed and an overdrive. Just put new seat in. Runs really well. Has fiberglass bob cat hood, stainless Jewels windshield frame, brand new BFG KM3 33/12.5r15 tires, and a K Line soft top. Price is negotiable asking $13,500.”
This has some missing gauges and some non-stock parts.

This has some old school updates. Some, like the tail lights, doors, and fender flares, are similar to some of the Fresno jeep mods.
“I have a 1943 Ford GPW for sale. It has the original gpw chassis and tub but the grill and hood are from a cj3a. The seats are from a Chevrolet car and sit on custom fabricated frames. The gas tank has been moved to the back to sit under the tub. It comes with a Chevy 152 engine which has 90hp and 152 lb ft of torque. Nice little 4 cyclinder engine, starts up first crank and runs smooth. The transmission is a T90 and needs to be rebuilt. Right now the third gear synchro is broken and second gear grinds. It come with a really nice roll cage, set of doors that lock, and a rear seat. The price is $6500 OBO. I paid $7500 for it, and was hoping to throw a new tranny in her and have some fun. But I’ve been busy and just don’t have time to work on it.”

“945 Ford GPW WWII Jeep unrestored in very good shape. Frame and body in good condition. Starts and runs great. This jeep can be driven as is or would be a good restoration project. I just drove it around town and to Home Depot for fun. The jeep spent most of it’s life in California before I had it shipped to Indiana. Recent carburetor rebuild, tune-up, new locking front hubs, radiator flush, oil change and misc. maintenance done. Prior owner swapped out the original 4 cylinder engine with one with more HP. Jeep has a top speed of 55mph vs 40-45mph. Clean Indiana title.”
The chassis is not included.

“May 7 1943 ford gpw. Chasis and data plates match. Sitting on a cj2a chasis(not included). F script seats, front and rear axles are stored inside with seats, and fenders. Steering column is f script. Has a home made fuel tank same shape as original just square on the edges. No title, engine or transmission. Hood has original surplus paint numbers under hood. Needs new floors and would make a great restoration project.”

This is part of an estate sale. It is listed as a 1946, but it looks to be a GPW based on the tool box lids and front crossmember.
