This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/13/2010) That top looks like an old Sears & Roebuck Aluminum top, rather than a custom top.

I wasn’t certain of the year when I registered it with MVD. They guy I bought it from only had a Canadian title with no information. I guessed it was a 1945. I did a little more research and after talking to a few guys from g503.com, we determined it to be a 1943. Instead of dealing with MVD again, I just left it as is.”

This has an inline 6 that runs. He just can’t get it into gear.
“What i have here is a 1942 ford gpw this was produced because at the time willys could not keep up with production for the united states military. It has factory lockers and i believe 4.88 gears also has the stock 3 speed and stock twin stick transfer case it has a flat head straight 6 it runs and was driving but when i towed it home with the tow bar it doesnt seem to wanna go into gear i dont know if im doing something wrong or what but it WAS driving will start and run for you but the points need to be set correctly to run perfectly here are some pictures”

“1943 Jeep MB Ford; rebuilt engine before I got it; Saganaw steering; 11″ brakes; T90 transmission; new wheels; new tires; new top; new wiring; winch; new fuel pump; new carb; new military seats front; fuel tank boiled and glassed; fuel filter and cutoff; electric wipers; tow bar; front tow hitch; jack mount; ax and shovel with mounts; 12 volt conversion/new battery; CB radio; roll bar; two gas can mounts; hubs; military auto manuals; all receipts. UPDATE: **SOLD** at Auction.
Both of these Jeeps appear in good condition. It looks like the GPW (the jeep pictures at bottom) comes with the some stainless.
