This is an odd build. I wonder just how that top is attached.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4750.
Here’s a GPW with some matching numbers.
“1945 WWII MILITARY FORD GPW Jeep Matching Numbers Frame, Engine, and Data Tag on Glove Box. Has CJ T-90 Trans; Chevy steering; CJ Axles; Roll Bar; Tow Bar; Hubs and Best Top. Runs Great.”
UPDATE: Josh notes that this is a GPW body and parts.
Brett spotted this Jeep, listed as a 1947 CJ-2A. This clearly has, at the very least, a WWII body and front clip. The body looks in good shape.

I’ve seen lots of ‘hood bumps, but never anything like this. That said, the body appears in good shape. Given where the handle bar is located on the dash, I’m wondering if this is an early body that doesn’t have the glove box?
“i have a 41 willys jeep was looking for a aluminum boat with a motor and trailer but lets see what you got open to options”
This one is a bit rough, but runs.
“jeep gpw, engine runs (needs carb and dist work). has matching # on frame and glove box tags. old rebuild tags on transmission (early style fill on opposite side) & transfer case, later engine.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500
This appears to be a great find. This won’t last long.
“1942 jeep military (ford) good rust free almost running”
This is actually a GPW (based on the parts I can see), though it’s been modified a bit.
(04/07/2009) This is certainly an unusual GPW, complete with a Ford script body. It’s apparently street legal, though I don’t see any lights on the back.
