About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(02/08/2019) Needs some brake work. It has a civilian head.
“Very solid original California GPW body with a good running engine, needs attention to the clutch and brakes to be roadworthy. WW2 Army Jeep with original combat wheels. Leave a phone number if interested.”
(12/14/2018) This might have a rare set of Thor Auto-matic hubs. Frame frame appears to be an MB/GPW frame. The body has a custom inlet and a glove box (though not a standard shape); my best guess is that it’s a replacement body or a customized body of some vintage. Title is from Thailand??
“1943 Ford GPW runs and drives but motor could use rebuild smokes Could use some tie rods ends. The body is in very good condition converted to 12 V recent tuneup new water pump and battery”
“ONE OWNER! Family Owned GPW and military style M101/105 trailer. Very cool history with this vehicle including Rubicon Trail Race Trophies. Garage kept. Been sitting for a while, but turns over. Yep, TX road ready and registered when parked. Title in hand. Let’s cut the bull. We don’t have to sell, but willing to entertain offers. Possible trades for Toyota trucks, Chevy Tracker, or side by sides, plus CASH OFFERS. Please don’t waste our time, contact us only if you are serious and know the market.”
“This is a 1943 (based on VIN) GPW Military Jeep. Needs some work on the drivers and passenger floors, the axe and shovel panel and the rear panel. The rear floor and panels are solid with just surface rust. It has a CJ grill. But I have a WW2 grill which I will include. The left and right fenders need some welding. The gas tank sump needs to be replaced and it needs a gas tank. It has an L134 4 cyl Go Devil Engine, which turns easily and it has a 6 volt alternator. It should be easy to get running. Also, I believe the transmission is the T-90. Based on the color, I would say this was used by the Air Force after the war.”
(02/17/2019) Needs some work. Does not have the original engine.

I also have a pair of suspension seats for the front. Is a project and needs some TLC. Gas tank need to be put back in with fuel lines and the exhaust downpipe needs to be refitted to the exhaust manifold. The carburetor could use to be rebuilt also.

Roger Martin spotted this GPW for sale. The jeep is listed by a neighbor; the actual seller is Matt. However, the friend who listed it somehow got Matt’s phone number automatically hidden, so there’s no way to contact Matt as of this post. I suspect Matt’s contact info will land on the ad once it has been updated.
