“Rare 1944 Ford GPW WWII Willy’s jeep up for sale! This amazing military vehicle can either be restored or used for parts. As it sits, it is mid-restoration and a lot is taken a part so there are a good amount of parts that will be included with this Ford (see photos). These original (not replica/remakes) GPW’s are hard to come by!
ALSO COMES WITH ORIGINAL DATA PLATES!
(Please note that the front wheels are sitting on there for picture, they are not actually crooked).
This would be a fun project for you to do. This does have some rust (see photos) but the frame is solid. There are a lot of original parts that will come with this bundle (see photos) but the motor, steering wheel, and the front axle are not original. *Please note that we are not experts in collector military vehicles, so there may be other parts that are not original.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(01/19/2019) Seems like there is value here.

“Real deal WWII army jeep, looks like it was used as a highway dept vehicle after it went surplus. Ford GPW body on a Willy’s MB frame. Basically straight tub but needs a gas tank well. Missing the right front fender. No running gear. Frame is good except for a crack that will need further welding but holds for now – see pic. These are easy rigs to restore and a blast to drive when you’re done, and they take up no space to store. Or, start with this and build whatever 4×4 you want! Clear title.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
Lots of mods and parts.
“1944 willys (green) c4 auto, set up for 289 or 302 no motor installed. Dana 18 transfer case, stock axles, good tub. Custom under seat fuel tank. Diamond plate rockers, corners, and tailgate cover

Also have good 289 core and nice 302 that has never been fired.
Extra windshield frame, and hood.
2 sets of plastic bucket seats
2 soft tops, 1 hard top

Lots of spare parts and misc. pieces
Have titles for both”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
It needs a lot of work for the price.
“A very good candidate for restoration, has the original Ford stamped head. This is a WW2 military or US Army USMC US Navy Jeep GPW. I will return a call if you leave your phone number.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5900.
(12/31/2018) Has some mods.

“1942 ford gpw. Clean idaho title in my name. Yes its registered as a 42 Gpw! Not a jeep willys. New brakes and tires. Buick 225 v6. Runs and drives well. All lights and gauges work. Has a cj gas tank and fill neck. Otherwise stock”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5800.
“This GPW Runs and drives but the up-keep was done by folks that fixed things with whatever was available. No doubt they were innovators but not mechanics. The motor needs a rebuild; the floor, although will work for some, needs some new sheet metal. The mechanicals need gone through. It is mostly original 1945 vintage parts.”
