Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I have the original Ford pintle hitch for the 1942.
All other drivetrain on both appear original.
Both need restoration. At least a complete floor replacement for one. I was planning on doing a rest tub for one and making one good tub from the other parts.

“Original WW2 flat fender. Good candidate for restoration. Body is usable and frame is good minus rear cross member. Floor needs replaced. No transmission, seats, engine, radiator, or fuel tank. Mainly a parts vehicle but where are you going to find another one? You can buy everything you need from a catalog now. These are VERY difficult to find and a true piece of history. Only selling to because I need to finish building my barn and need cash.”

This Jeep has had the 2.0 engine conversion put into it prior to my purchase. All the axles, transmission and transfer case is original.”
