About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(01/27/2018) Includes a complete softop. Appears to have a CJ head (if not entire engine).
“Rare 1943 jeep willys gpw. Had apraised for $6500 but want to sell. Runs and drives around yard but is a project. Converted to 12 volt and new rebuilt pasco starter. Also has soft top hardwear and full soft doors. Have title. Be perfect for restoration. Have seen restored GPWs sell for a lot.”
(03/18/2018) Bill shared this modified GPW. Could be a good price. I love the classic paint job. It’s listed as a 1941 Ford Jeep, but looks to be a GPW, which makes it ’42 or later.
“Ran years ago before man passed away. “NO TITLE. AS IS”
Boxed frame corvette 327. Custom exhaust headers, custom 4speed.
Way more customized to much to list.”
“This is a ford gpw body and frame between 1940 and 1945. It did run but I haven’t started it myself. There is only a bill of sale its been sitting in a shed for 10 years or so.”

“Found this in a old barn it’s a old Military Rail Road jeep real neet looking a jeep with a flat bedand still a 4×4 still have the original rail wheels on it the jeep is all there the way the military had it , I have not had the time to mess with it yet they year i was told 1941 to 1943 i do not know exactly , I have looked to find another one up for sale but i have not been able to find any ,I have found info on it about the military having them made and showed pics of them and it looks just like the old pics of them back in the 40s ,We are putting it up for sale for $4500″
Could be a good price, but doesn’t start at the moment.
“I am selling a 1943 GPW Ford Jeep that has been in a dry storage for 5 years and doesn’t start at this time from sitting and the carburetor probably needs rebuilding. Engine and transmission have less than 1K miles on them since they were rebuilt in the late 1990’s. It has a new wiring harness, the rear drive shaft has been replaced, all U joints replaced and brake system has been rebuilt.
The tires are in good shape and not flat, the Jeep has the original combat rims, fuel tank was replaced when the engine was rebuilt. It is equipped with original accessories and everything in the photos are included, no other spare parts are available. It does have the elusive “F” marked pintle hook. 99% of the parts are “F” marked. It is not currently registered at this time so it will need to be trailed home and the title is clean. $10,000 FIRM and I will only accept CASH.”
