Looks good. Aren’t those early rims?

“44 GPW. Not original but correct engine, rebuilt with hardened valve seats to run unleaded gas. Lots of new parts, wiring harness, gas tank, starter, clutch, brakes, etc. Frame powder coated, correct paint. Runs and stops great. Transmission has issues, leaks, and sometimes has trouble shifting from 1st to 2nd, like neutral gate off center???? Lots of extra parts.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5200.

(03/25/2017) Jim spotted this one. It last ran in 1991. I don’t see a Ford script, so this is likely a later model.

“Rare 1941 Ford Army Jeep. Great restoration project. Has the orginal tires. Ran in 1991, been stored inside a warehouse.”

1942 GPW Lancaster, PA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $17,500.

Looks solid.

“1942 GPW, the Ford license-produced Willys MB of WWII. As you can see, this GPW is well-restored but the work is about 13 years old. It has been well-stored and used monthly for re-enactments and living history events. The restoration was frame-off. Engine idles smoothly and maintains 30 lbs oil pressure. The jeep drives very nice. Frame and original data plate match title, but the engine is a later war GPW serial number. There is some minor corrosion around various parts/pieces which is visible in photographs. Mileage is an estimate. There are a number of extra items that come with the jeep, parts and accessories, and we will show those to prospective buyers when meeting.”

1944 GPW Colorado Springs, CO $16,995

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $16,995.

(03/17/2017) Looks nice, but has a few incorrect items.

“I am selling a 1944 military Jeep, this is one of the more rare GPW models manufactured by Ford during the war, it shares the same design with the Willys built MB units with a few minor differences. This jeep has the “Script F” stamped on many of the parts denoting them as manufactured by Ford. It has had a complete “Frame-off” restoration taking over 16 years, including a completely rebuilt ford manufactured GO DEVIL 4 cylinder engine, T84 transmission, and Dana 18 transfer case. The brakes are new and freshly adjusted, and it has new reproduction firestone military tires. It has all new canvas seats and top and comes with multiple manuals and literature. ”

1943 GPW Kennewick, WA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.

Other photos show more parts. Has some GPW, CJ, and MB parts.

“Howdy folks, Here is my Ford GPW project, parts and more. Lots of military jeep stuff. I have a GPW chassis with a Willys engine. A GPW body, cj2 tub and fenders. I have an original Ford GPW engine and trans/transfer case. An extra trans/ transfer case. Extra radiator, drivelines and more. There is a Spicer PTO that fits either t case. Has a nice clean carb for the willys engine and more parts in a box. I have too many projects now and want something that needs less work like cash. This has a clean title in my name. War jeeps are getting harder to find these days and the Ford GPW is even more rare then the jeep. They go for an insane amount of cash when restored. Looking at ebay I found I can part it out for over 3000$ which is my plan if nobody wants it. I would be happy to trade this for something that runs. I like off road toys, like maybe a sand rail, or a big dual sport bike, dirt bike, Stand up jet ski, 701 or bigger. OR?? Let me know what you have. Worst I can say is no. Thanks for looking.”
