Tires are newer, but flat. You’ll need an air compressor to air them up. There’s power at the storage unit so you can plug something in. It should start. It’s only been sitting a year. I recommend having it towed/trailered anyway.

I am devastated to lose this. I grew up with it. My father made most of the modifications to it. It was our fishing/camping vehicle.

My boyfriend just passed and I can’t keep it. I want it to go to someone that will love it and use it.

If you are look for a run around Jeep, OK. If you are looking for a quality restoration project, this Jeep is a disaster. It is sad the abuse inflicted on this early script Ford. Roll bar runs through the floor and is welded to the frame. The body was re-skinned. I cannot determine how much of the body is original or its condition. Drivers seat was extended two inches. Look over the pictures carefully. More pictures at:

On the good side: The engine spins freely be hand. It has the early scalloped axles. Early windshield hold down, Ford Script, and other F marks.

In addition, included will be the two windshield frames, hood and one combat wheel.”

This has an unusual roll bar setup. Unclear how much work it needs.

“I am selling my 1943 Ford Willy’s gpw. I have had this jeep for nearly 16 years. I somewhat restored it while I was younger but left for school and it sat for a while only being driven once or twice a year until the radiator blew a year or two ago. Since then it has sat waiting for some love. I currently don’t have the time or the money to get this where it needs to be. Hate to let it go but it’s hard to keep. “Located in Central West Texas.  Ford GPW numbers matching Jeep:  Frame number, engine number and body tag all match.  Frame is clean, F-stamped as shown. The Jeep has been registered on the G503 site indicating early spring production number by SN. The Jeep has been in Texas since it’s military sale.  It has been on a ranch used primarily for hunting.  There is no title to the Jeep.
