“1942 Ford GPW, Clear tile and matching frame number and data plate. It was restored 10+ years ago. It has the GPW “f-script” engine head with a newer model CJ2A “Go Devil” engine block, T-90 transmission and Dana 18 transfer case. If interested, a 1943 Ford GPW T-84 with “f-script” GPW transfer case is available. The GPW is in very good condition, starts right up with initial choke, runs good, transmission and transfer case shift fine, 12 volt system generator. It has Bestop brand seats and top with clear plastic. It has some flaws with the paint.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5800.
Has an f-head.
“1942 Willys Ford Script GPW (General Purpose Willys) If you know Willys you know this one is rare and hard to come by! It was only made the first few months of 1942. I’m not an expert but it does have the Willy’s Grill and possibly a Ford stamped Willys frame. The engine is not original but starts and runs perfect. I think it is an early fifties F-head. Starts runs and drives great, 4×4 works and the tires are in Nice condition. Like most Willys 70 plus years old it has had modifications including a fuel cell and selecto hubs. The Body and Frame seem to be original and mostly unmolested. It has a few minor oil leaks but you can drive it down the road today! Clear Montana title in hand. If it were original it would be a $40,000 rig unfortunately those are very hard to come by! I believe the price is fair at $5800 but will consider serious offers”

Needs plenty of body work.
“Jeep has original running gear and will run and drive with a secondary gas tank. Original tank is rusted out. Floor and tub have a lot of rust. I also have a good L134 engine for $500. A non tested L134 engine for $250. A good T90 transmission and transfer case for $450. Parts transmission & transfer case for $250.”

Needs some work, but better than some I’ve seen.
“I have an early 1942 Ford script GPW tub for sale.
Tub is in overall good condition with a lot of work already done. Body is solid with no rust with a thin coat of body filler used to fill in dents on side and rear panels. Tool boxes just replaced, only needs floors replaced and it’s good to go! New side handles, pioneer tool brackets, glove box lid, tool box lids along with locks for all three lids.
No title, no data plates come with this tub, sold as is. ”

This could make a cool restoration .. something different.
