“1943 JEEP FORD WILLY 4X4 ORIGENAL 4 CYLINDER FLAT HEAD 3 SPD MANUAL TRANS. WITH OVER DRIVE RUNS GRAET PINK ON HAND UP TO DATE ON REG. CALL”
Not all original. Non-original brakes, tranny, and rims at the very least.
“Own an original WW II Jeep. The real deal. Made in 1945, this Ford WWII Jeep (Ford GPW) is fully restored and in excellent working condition. All original (except for a more powerful transmission and larger breaks). New shocks, springs, starter, alternator, water pump, radiator, master cylinder, breaks, and rear-end. Street legal with current tags.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1900.
(01/11/2016) Has no title and needs work.
“I bought this 1945 Ford built GPW WWII Jeep, not all that long ago to restore. After putting much thought into it, I’ve decided to sell it and buy another one that is already restored. This Jeep has a rebuilt engine that runs great. I’ve driven it around the field where it is stored, but not on the street, because the brakes are down. Although the engine is rebuilt, the rest of the Jeep needs complete and total restoration. It is FAR from ready to drive down the highway. The engine and transmission are out of a later model civilian WILLYS Jeep and not a Ford built Jeep. Someone had cut out the rear panel and made a tailgate. I recently bought a brand new repair panel to fix the tail of the Jeep. This is not an easy restoration and the body is VERY rusty like most WWII Jeeps. It comes with a far less rusty windshield frame. The Jeep does have lots of Ford “F”s stamped on it and it has the original Ford body vin tag. It does NOT have a title.”
Can’t tell how good the floor is (or is not).

Neither runs.

“For Sale or Trade: This is a WWII GPW Ford Script Jeep manufactured on May 11, 1942 with a low production number. It has survived with it’s serial number and instruction plates still intact and will have a clean Kentucky Classic Car title. We just pulled it out of the weeds and don’t have it cleaned out yet, so I’m not sure what parts are there or if the serial numbers match. It does roll and steer and seems pretty solid. There is body damage just below the “Ford” script area, but I believe a good sheet metal fabricator could repair it. The metal is basically solid all around the tub. The floor pans are bad, I would say. As you can see in the pictures, there are small “fender skirts” over the rear wheels. These are very solid and appear to be factory but could be an add on. The dash and instrument gauges are intact and look pretty good. I’ll add more info and upgrade the pictures when we get it cleaned up. Asking $1450 for this unusual find…..Would love to see this rare piece of U.S. military history from the Great Generation restored to its war-time glory and rolling down Main Street America in a 4th of July parade!”
There is some history left in this, but some missing, too. I assume the price is negotiable.

“Flatfender MB/GPW Jeep. Flathead 4 cyl L134 Engine. Some mods, some stock, great running little jeep. New brakes–Less than 500 miles. Classic vehicle with nice options looking for a new home. Had this stored for the past 15 years and am taking on a new project with my son. Not a rusted piece of junk like some of the other stuff you see out there, but not a show truck either. Come take a look and see if this is your dream Jeep.”
