About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Bob spotted this unusual project on the web. I had meant to publish it many months ago, but I seem to have forgotten to do that. I only have this one image.
There appear to be lots and lots of jeepster parts.
“I have a 1950 Willys Jeepster restoration project that is in process and unfortunately can not be completed by me at this time. There are a lot of parts that are included in the sale of this vehicle. Almost two complete vehicles. There are 2 body’s or tubs ( one from AZ ), 4 hoods, 2 sets of fenders, 4 cowls, 2 sets of wheels, one f4 inline four cylinder motor, one 3-speed manual transmission with optional overdrive, 2 frames, 1 compete freshly rebuilt rear axle assembly (all new bearings and seals), 4 doors, 3 top frames, 2 front suspension , 3 sets of seat frames, 3 steering columns, front and rear cowls, spare tire mounts & belly pans, 3 windshield frames, front and rear bumper assembly, 7 door vent window frames, 3 fuel tanks, lots of chrome trim, step pads, plus over 25 boxes of items from gauges, radios, heater boxes, lights and much much more. All of these items are used. There are parts from both modules the 49 and the 50. Like on the one tub from AZ is a 49 with the dash being the only difference and there are two 1949 hoods that are flat across the front and a molding down the center and 2 cowls that are straight across the front and not v out in the center.
Also included is over $1500.00 new in the box parts from Kaiser Willys auto supply . A complete master brake kit ( brake-sw2 ), complete suspension kit ( suspension-9 ), plastic fuel tank ( mts-0018a ), fuel sending unit (914848), king pins ( 801580).
I had the frame sandblasted, painted and was starting to assemble the suspension and rear axle. The frame is painted with por 15 and had only 2 small spots that needed to be repaired do to a/m exhaust brackets. There is one complete set of body panels that has been media blasted.
This restoration was being completed with the best of parts and everything was being inspected so the repairs would be top of the line, so that we would have many years of enjoying the vehicle with no other repairs being necessaries after completion.
The engine does have the oil pan and valve covers removed and the pistons and cylinder walls are in like newly rebuilt condition. The clutch and slave cylinder are also in like new condition. I can not say when these items were rebuilt or replaced by the prior owner. The vehicle did run and drive before the start of this project in aug of 09. It still has the 6 volt generator system.
You could very easy build 2 vehicles ( with the addition of a few parts of your own i.e. motor and trans ) with the parts that are included in this sale plus have many left over.
The photos of the white Jeepster are from before we started the tear down. Right now I would guess it would take two car trailer plus a pickup bed to haul everything away.
I have over 100 photos of the vehicle at different steps of the restoration. Copy’s can be included with the sale if you would like. If there is any one item you would like me to verify the condition of, please email me.
The vehicle is in Port Huron ,MI 48060 and you are more then welcome to come and inspect it at anytime or email me with any questions you have.”
