“1949 Willy’s Overland Jeepster, Runs great! Has a 289 V-8 engine, automatic transmission, CD Player (w/detachable face), power steering, power brakes, cloth top convertible w/side curtains. Extra grill and headlights come with it. Great start for a collector vehicle or addition to the ones you have! Is in very good condition but not perfect. (02/25/2010) “You are bidding on a 1948 Willys Jeepster Convertible. It has original running gear and 4 cylinder engine. This vehicle runs great and drives wonderful. Also features overdrive. Sets on a 12 volt charging system. Has bucket seats in the front and a bench seat in the back. It has been stored indoors. This vehicle is red with a white convertible top and plastice windows in good condition. Speedomoter is broke but has no more than 70,000 miles. Here’s a nice Jeepster that includes an 8-track tape player.

“Parade car.  This jeepster is an older restoration from Ohio.  It was a Shriner’s parade car and was in the Jeepster Club of America.  I have owned and enjoyed it for three years with no problems.  It has a Buick V6, power steering and an automatic transmission.  I’m sure the original mileage is over 100,000 miles but I have no idea of the true miles.  It was obviously restored at one time but would need to be redone at some point if you want a show car.  It looks good going down the road and garners lots of attention and thumbs up.  Top is good with a boot and all side windows. It is the original color scheme which was a hard to get color.  It has sixteen horns and a great eight track with your very own Johnny Cash tape!  I can tell that it has had some rust repair in the past which is to be expected in a 60 year old Jeepster.  Buy this just in time for your local 4th of July parade. Vehicle is for sale locally, I reserve the right to end this auction early.”
