“1968 Jeepster Commando Roadster. Buick 225 V6 Aluminum head, new alternator, exhaust- runs strong. New brakes & new floors inside. Rollbar. 3spd. Rocker Box Transmission (shifts a little rough- needs work). Needs Master Cyl. Exterior sprayed with yellow Rhino Liner treatment for durability. Also custom bulk head installed for pickup truck look, if desired. New bikini top. This is a really cool classic Jeep that is in need of some TLC! Lots of $$ invested, just no time to finish. Here’s a great looking Jeepster.
“The car runs very well, and its easy to drive. The “3 on the tree” manual transmission shifts properly. Whether you’re heading to Margaritaville at 5 o’clock, or just out for a pleasure drive on a nice ragtop day, you’ll have no worries.
As far as condition, its good. The body is straight and the interior is in very, very good shape. The convertible top is also in very good shape, but it does not latch properly at the front. This isn’t ready to be a show car, but its a nice driver. We don’t know the actual mileage on the vehicle, but we’re betting its seen more smiles than miles.
It does have an AM/FM/Cassette radio, but the car doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles…oh wait…there IS a whistle: the “sexy girl” whistle sounds when you push a button on the dash.

This looks like a pretty easy project … but looks can be deceiving.
“1950 WILLYS JEEPSTER. VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN DRY BARN STORAGE FOR 28 YEARS. HAS NOT BEEN RUN IN THAT TIME BUT THE ENGINE STILL TURNS FREELY. IT IS NOT A PERFECT VEHICLKE BUT A NICE LOOKING VEHICLE THAT HAD SOME RUST WORK REPAIRED MANY YEARS AGO. NEEDS A GAS TANK. THIS IS NOT A DRIVER AT THIS TIME BUT WOULD NOT TAKE TOO MUCH TO MAKE IT ONE.”

The valuation for this came out at $3500? Hmmmm.
“This is a rare factory 6cyl 1950 Jeep Willy’s Jeepster standard with overdrive. It has been stripped to the metal, all there and Barn stored since the 1970’s. There is surface rust easily amenable and one identified small area of rot on the left rear quarter. It is a resto project. The engine and trans are work the asking price. It is not running, all motor trans dash etch is there.”
