These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “These Jeepster Convertibles are very rare, records indicate that fewer than 3,000 were made from 1967-’69. I purchased this Jeepster in 2015, from the second owner in Grants New Mexico. He was a WWII B-17 navigator who flew over 16 bombing missions over Nazi Germany, and wrote a couple books about his experiences (Google Flak Happy, Authorhouse).
Anyways, he purchased it in 1971 in Patterson, California from a new Chevy dealer. He used it as his family car for several years, and even pulled a 16′ travel trailer for family vacations. I have several slide show slides (remember those?) of his travels with the Jeep back in the 1970’s. In 1986, he brought it to New Mexico, where it has resided ever since. Being a southwestern vehicle its entire life, there is very little rust (primarily surface rust). The Jeepster has 92,000 original miles.
