About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1963 M-170 Marine Corps Jeep – has a lot of mods, also have matching trailer, runs and drives fine, registered for street use, have had it since about 1994 or so, was featured in Four Wheel Offroad mag and is pretty rare, it’s in pretty good shape.
small list: full cage through body to frame mounts, winch, 350 Chevy, turbo 400, Art Carr manual valve body and Art Carr shifter, Durrie 9 inch with locking hubs and Auburn pro posi, stock front 25 with 5:38 gears, has advance adaptors overdrive unit, two meter radio, cd player.
(06/09/2014) It runs, but could use some restoration.
“This is a genuine piece of history that is ready to have the restoration completed. Runs great, as a matter of fact it has been a savior on the farm at times, pulling things out that I have gotten stuck.
Not picture is the green canvas top that fits over the railings. Please see the YouTube video of use driving on the property.
Sorry, not looking for trades. Cash only.”
“1954 M-170. This is a Korean-War-era military field ambulance/radio vehicle made by Willys. This particular Jeep was a radio vehicle, not ambulance. Radio switches/gauges and antenna mount present, but radio equipment gone. Was a ranch Jeep for past 42 years.
Drivetrain and axles are stock with minor exceptions. Ignition was converted to 12-volt and generator replaced with Delco alternator with external regulator by previous owner. Also, civilian carb was installed on the stock 134-cube F-head. Transmission is stock T-90 and T-case is factory twin-stick Spicer 18.
It’s a project, but there’s already been some work done.

“Selling a Willys jeep m170. It is a project jeep, has not motor, no grill, only one fender, no seat frames, and no vin number. It has rust but is very repairable. It would make a great family off road truck.”
“M-170 is the long wheel base ambulance version of the standard military Jeep. This Jeep is in excellent running condition with a freshly overhauled engine, new clutch and battery. The body is in good condition with no rust issues. Is is under a “non-op” registration but is street legal. It needs a windshield. The tires are new but the wheels and tires are not original military. An excellent candidate for restoration or use as is for running the hills.”
(02/15/2014) This runs and drives. It might be a good price.
“I have a 1962 jeep M170. Runs good, clutch is good, 4wd is good, new batteries, newly sealed gas tank, carb cleaned, 13kmi just needs some restoration.”
Needs starter at the very least. No pics provided.
“I have a jeep M170 that i am selling to further other projects. Rust free jeep with original drive train. Missing soft top, tailgate and odds and ends. Needs a starter and has been converted to 12v system with alternator. New battery and aftermarket wiring harness available. Tires.are aftermarket and in good shape. Great project truck and a very rare jeep. Production numbers are thought to be as low as 4500 ever produced. Will consider partial trades for guy stuff.
