“I have a 1951 Willys M38 military 1/4 ton Jeep in unrestored condition for sale. M38 ‘flat fender’ serial MC45xxx, built 12-51. The body does have some rust and body-putty patchwork but otherwise is in a reasonably restorable condition. The M38 has had its original engine replaced by a F4-134 Hurricane and thus a hole was cut in the hood for clearance. I do have a more correct L-134 engine listed for sale elsewhere. The 24v electrics were removed and rewired by 12v stock equipment. The brakes have been rebuilt and the vehicle was runnable as of 2008, but has been under tarp since then, and has deteriorated. I found this jeep in a barn in Navada City, very little rust. I was going to restore, have to many projects.
