This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The coloring of the image is strange enough that I’m wondering if this is really the jeep for sale. Though listed as a “Willys US Army Jeep”, the body suggests a M-38 while the grille suggest a civvy of some type.

“I bought this jeep for a project…… But i just don’t have the time. Trades welcome small gas welder or tell me what you have. ( OR COME LOOK AND MAKE A RESONABLE OFFER) This Jeep is all original . The flat head engin needs gone through & didn’t have gas tank or seat’s, other than that it’s a fun project and now it’s in my way in the shop.”

(05/31/2011) I don’t see too many M-38s with CJ-2A windshield.
“I’m selling my 1952 Willys Flat Fender Jeep, I need to sell a.s.a.p. moving! It’s been sitting for a while but it does run, needs work. It has a 400 small block, sm420 trans, dana 300 transfercase, dana 44 rear, dana 30 front, reversed front shakles, tow bar, rear rack that is removable. $3000.00”

“Body only for an M38 army flatfender. Not rusty, has a lot of bondo, dash is cut up. Army-specific parts are all there, like the battery cover on the cowl. Perfect for a beater rock crawler, or make a Jeep rat rod!”

UPDATE: Price dropped to $850. For $850, this might be a good price.
