About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Also included is a metal cab with side doors with roll up windows and a tow bar (not pictured)
The top is an original 1943 Jeep but we replaced the frame using a 1953 jeep. Chevy V6 engine and HD automatic transmission. ”
“1944 Jeep Willys CJ2A/MB/GPW
I have owned this jeep for 8 years and it has been a great project. Tub/Body is an early example CJ2a with tool indents. I got this jeep in to running condition and fixed it up to be a Parade and around town runner. Engine is a L134 “Go Devil” 4cyl with 3 speed T-90 floor shifter. The Jeep is mostly complete, but not a show piece. It has unfortunately sat for the last 4 years not getting used. Although it did run when parked it will need to be gone through again to get it into running condition.
It comes with some rarer jeep parts including some stamped F(ford) parts, 3 solid disk(non- slotted) rims, and the early CJ2A tub with tool indents.
This Jeep will also have a clear Titled in my name for a 1944 Ford GPW, I licensed and insured the jeep as such, in the time that I’ve owned it. The Jeep has the accompanying data plate matching the title. I ran the appropriate serial number searches, with the state when I bought it, verifying no outstanding history. Getting this Jeep licensed and insured will not be an issue.
It has been a fun toy, that always grabs attention, but it’s time to move it on to someone who can invest time into it. ”

“1945 (Flat Fender) Jeep Willy’s-Ready for Hunting Season
This is the completion of my uncle’s “body off” restoration project. Powered by a 283 Chevy, small block V-8. 4 speed transmission. Runs and drives great. Street legal. Two gas tanks with selector switch to draw from either or both. 8000 lb. Warn winch. Full canvas top and doors. Bikini top. Full cage roll bar. Beautiful , custom, professional blue paint. Stock suspension height. 2wd and 4wd. Overdrive, hi and low gear. Motorized wipers. 4 point seat belts. Very cool Oooga horn. Already licensed as a collector’s, antique car so no annual tab renewal. About the same cost as an ATV but WAY more bang for the buck. $6,700.00.”
“1945 Willy’s MB model. Serial #412141 This is a great little restoration project. I have already put some work into it. It runs but needs some work. Use it as is to run around in, or restore it. Would be a fun project and easy to work on. You must pick it up. 3,500 obo”
