About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“It breaks my heart to put this war Jeep up for sale. This old girl went over there and was loved so much they sent her back. She still retains a rebuild tag on the transfer case. It shows it was rebuilt by the ordinance corps in Japan. (see pics) This is a true barn find. Owned by the same family since the 50’s and stayed on a ranch in Montrose, Co. (High desert climate, so very little rust) Still has many of it’s original features as you can see in the pictures, including it’s olive drab steering wheel! Currently is running, driving and stopping. Has new brake and fuel systems. However the tires are pretty weather checked. They hold air and would be fine for trailering.
She currently has an overhead valve engine. I have the flathead engine that came with the Jeep (disassembled, of course) that I will include in the sale. Body is solid with a couple of small rust spots (see pics) frame is rock solid. I have posted a lot of pictures and have many more upon request. Email me with your phone number and WAR JEEP in the subject line. All others will be deleted due to spamming. I will happily return all calls and answer any questions. I am only selling due to an illness in the family. This does not mean I will take any low ball or just plain silly offers. Only Email if you’re serious, already have the money, and permission from your wife. I would like to sell this week to the highest bidder! Do not NEED to sell this week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Cash sale only. Will assist with loading.”
“1953 Willy’s Army Jeep with the original 1953 Willy’s engine, VIN#426445. unknown miles. $4,495or best offer. I’ve replaced the brake lines, wheel cynlinders and brakes, clutch and pressure plate, the ring gear on the fly wheel and the starter. It ran fine the last time I used it which was several years back. I’m selling it as is. These jeeps have a lot of potential and you could easily make it into a $15,000 jeep. There’s an army serial number on the right front hood that’s hard to read after 62 years. The numbers on the hood are original and as far as we can tell they are _0_08659. ”
“1944 Willy’s Jeep. Body in fair condition drive train in excellent condition, runs great it does have a Chevy Iron Duke 4 cylinder engine, which is a common replacement for the flat head 4 cylinder engine that it came with and is easier to get parts. It is Titled and ready to up on the Mesa Monument or where ever you take it. This Jeep is a Military Jeep and is not geared for highway driving. Reasonable offers will be considered.”

“This Jeep is being sold for parts. It was bought for parts to fix another older jeep but this one has had some custom modifications from the past owner who used it as a farm vehicle. It has a V-6 and a manual three speed transmission with 4WD. The differentials and transmission would be excellent for off road builds. This jeep is being sold as is and in one piece. It does not have tires so the buyer is responsible for loading and transporting the Jeep. I am ready to get rid of this jeep so the price could be negotiated.”
